"parent material" refers to the initial deposit found on the surface of the Earth, which eventually develops into soil. This layer of soil is characterized by distincly and ever changing organisms and materials that make it unique. Drawing inspiration from this concept, I aim to create jewelry pieces that mimic the organic and fluid form of “parent material”. My vision is for each piece to become an extension of the wearer or transporter, blending in seamlessly like the parent material does with the surrounding soil.
